Links und rechts der Skulptur sind zwei Steinkreuze aufgestellt. Vor dem Beet ist eine etwa 30 Zentimeter hohe Mauer angebracht, auf der mit Reliefschrift folgender Text zu lesen ist: &quot;Die Toten mahnen haltet Frieden 1914-1918 / 1939-1945&quot;.<br /> <br /> Die Besonderheit des Denkmals besteht darin, dass sein Urheber Karl Seckinger 1934 das Kriegerdenkmal Berghausen geschaffen und dieses künstlerisch im &lt;lex id=&quot;ereig-0016&quot;&gt;nationalsozialistischen&lt;/lex&gt; Pathos gestaltet hat. Lange Zeit galt Seckinger auch als Schöpfer des 1940 errichteten Kriegerdenkmals Grötzingen.
