Sie geht von der Battstraße in südlicher Richtung ab und endet als Sackgasse, ein Fußweg führt zur &lt;lex id=&quot;top-2275&quot;&gt;Reinhold-Schneider-Straße&lt;/lex&gt;. Bebaut ist sie mit zwei viergeschossigen Wohnblocks und einem zwölfgeschossigen Hochhaus.<br /> <br /> Die Straße wurde 1964 nach dem Dichter Adalbert Stifter (23. Oktober 1805 – 28. Januar 1868) benannt. Von seinen vielen Werken ist die Erzählung „Der Bergkristall“ die bekannteste. Die Straße gehört wie die meisten anderen Straßen der Baumgartensiedlung zu einem Namensfeld mit nach Dichtern des 18. - 20.
