Am Gottlob-Schreber-Weg liegt mit dem „Alten Bahnhof“, heute Wohnhaus (Nr. 1), das ehemalige Stationsgebäude &lt;lex id=&quot;top-2374&quot;&gt;Rüppurr&lt;/lex&gt; an der Hauptbahnstrecke von Karlsruhe nach Rastatt (1844-1913). <br /> <br /> Benannt wurde der Weg nach Daniel Gottlob Moritz Schreber (15. Oktober 1808 - 10. November 1861). Der Arzt (Orthopäde mit breit gefächertem Schrifttum) und Pädagoge arbeitete und lebte in Leipzig. Schreber war jedoch nicht Begründer der Schrebergärten.
