=Reichenbachstraße=<br />

Die Reichenbachstraße im Stadtviertel <lex id="top-0210">Aue</lex> des Karlsruher Stadtteils <lex id="top-0558">Durlach</lex> beginnt an der <lex id="top-0630">Ellmendinger Straße</lex>, verläuft zur <lex id="top-0216">Auer Straße</lex> und kreuzt dabei die <lex id="top-1230">Hildebrand-</lex> und die <lex id="top-2073<br />
">Oberwaldstraße</lex>. Benannt wurde sie 1912 nach dem in Durlach geborenen und in Bayern erfolgreichen Ingenieur und Unternehmer <lex id="bio-0966">Georg von Reichenbach</lex> (24. August 1771 - 21. Mai 1826).<br />
<br />
In der Reichenbachstraße 22 und 24 steht ein Doppelmietwohnhaus unter Denkmalschutz. Es ist ein dreigeschossiger und traufständiger Massivbau mit Mansardwalmdach, das Erdgeschoss rustiziert mit Rundbogentoren, das Obergeschoss verputzt mit Pilastergliederung und gut erhaltener Innenausstattung. Nummer 22 wurde für den Kaufmann Gustav Gorenflo und Nummer 24 für den Elektriker Wilhelm Kiefer von Architekt Adolf Meier 1928 erbaut. Durch die Straße führt das Doppelgleis der <lex id="ins-1231">Straßenbahnlinie</lex> nach <lex id="top-3005">Wolfartsweier</lex>.<br />
