Der Weg geht entlang den Saumseen und verschmälert sich ab dem Restaurant An den Saumseen. Der Saumweg wurde 1958 nach den Saumseen im Naturschutzgebiet Fritschlach benannt. Hier wurden in der zweiten Hälfte des 19.
