Er gehört zu einem kleinen Namensfeld mit Straßen, die nach Schwarzwaldbergen, badischen Flüssen bzw. durch Baden fließenden Flüssen und badischen Orten benannt wurden. Beide Brücken stehen unter Denkmalschutz: Die Straßenbrücke über die Alb ist ein rundbogiger gewölbter Massivbau aus dem späten 18. Jahrhundert mit Brüstungen aus dem frühen 20. Jahrhundert. Einige Steine sind mit Steinmetzzeichen versehen.
