Die Straße wurde im Zuge der Eingemeindung 1975 nach der ehemals selbständigen Gemeinde <lex id="top-2921">Welschneureut</lex> benannt. Vorher hieß sie An der Klamm, ab 1900 Schulstraße, ab 1933 Adolf-Hitler-Straße und ab 1945 wieder Schulstraße. </div></td>
